The fish and meat dishes are delicious. We were there several times in a week. Very courteous and friendly service.

Very tasty food. Good portions for a reasonable price. Nice restaurant with nice service. Can just be recommended.

I miss this place very much .... I'm already counting the days until the end of the lockdown so that I and my family can finally eat good, quality German food again.

An asset to Esens. After our visit to the Hopfenlaube today, our assessment is partly partly. The reservation was very friendly but also necessary. The restaurant is very busy and now we know why. The starter salad was beautifully colorful and the dressing was great. We deliberately ordered meat and fish. The food was on the table in no time. If you are a fish friend, you should take the captain plate. 👍 The gratinated pork fillet was as it should be. 👍 Unfortunately, the dessert was only mediocre.

Great food, the kale for example. Service fast and friendly, East Frisian warmth. Sanitary area modern and very clean.

When we go on vacation to Esens almost twice a year, we only go out to eat with you! There is no better restaurant than this. The staff was super nice and quick. We have never had anger or problems. Food is a little more expensive here than in some other places, but it's worth every penny. The beer and cola were nice and cold and the food was freshly prepared. The staff is very friendly. For the location in the middle of the city center, the prices are by no means overpriced. I highly recommend a visit here.

We went to this restaurant on our last day of vacation. We chose the fish feast and the tongue. First of all there is a starter salad for every main course. We also ordered a crab soup. It was all delicious. The service friendly. Nothing to complain about.

Friendly staff, who received us as well. The menu includes a good selection of delicacies, be it meat, fish, poultry, vegetarian or children's dishes - everyone will find what they are looking for here. In a clean, comfortable atmosphere, we did not have to wait long for our food. The price - performance ratio is appropriate. Because we wanted to eat inside, we had reserved in advance, but there were still enough free tables, even though we were there at the usual dinner time at 18.30 clock. But that is certainly not every evening so, so I definitely recommend to book. We liked it very much, we will definitely be back.
